Cath Lab Transport
I transport many patients from small hospitals to larger ones for special procedures. One of the most common procedures is a coronary angiogram for patients having chest pain. The place where this procedure is done is called a cath lab.
Despite the fact that she was wearing a hospital gown, our patient managed to keep her appearance tasteful. She had on fresh eye shadow and lipstick and her ebony hair was neatly combed. As we loaded her on the gurney I noticed a gold cross dangling from a chain around her neck. “That’s a beautiful cross you’re wearing.”
“Oh thank you. I wear it as a reminder of God’s faithfulness to me during the hard times I’ve been through.”
“I know exactly what you mean,” I replied. “I’ve been through years of difficult times myself and He’s been so faithful to me.”
“I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have Him,” she said. “I’m so blessed to have a family who is lifting me up in prayer right now.”
“Well, then you won’t mind if I pray for you,” I said.
“Oh, I would just love that.”
I placed my hand on her left shoulder. She said, “Oh, do you want to start with my bad shoulder?”
I began laughing. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know you had a shoulder problem. By any chance do you have a torn rotator cuff?”
“No, I have bursitis. My shoulder hurts all the time.”
I gently placed my hand on her shoulder again. “I command bursitis to leave right now in the name of Jesus. Spirit of pain, get out now.” I asked if she felt any changes.
“Well, it feels wonderful! It doesn’t hurt at all.”
“Isn’t God just awesome?”
“He’s been so good to me,” She replied with a smile.
Since she had just been healed of bursitis, I wanted to go for something a little bigger. She had been admitted to the hospital for breathing problems related to heart failure. She’s lived with diabetes for many years. I wanted to see if we could get everything healed.
“You know, since God already healed your shoulder, I was thinking maybe we should try to get the rest of you healed. Can I pray for your heart to be healed?”
“I would love that.”
I placed my hand on her newly healed shoulder. “Holy Spirit, I ask you to bring your power upon this woman and I bless your work of healing in her body. Heart, be healed. Pancreas and liver be healed. Lungs, be healed in the name of Jesus.” I asked again if she felt any different.
“I feel at peace,” She replied.
“That’s the Prince of Peace letting you know that He’s working on your healing. I should probably tell you about something before we get to the hospital. Once you’re healed, the symptoms may return. If you notice you’re healed one day and the symptoms come back, don’t be worried that you were not healed. Your healing is real, but healing is a battle and sometimes spirits of pain and sickness will try to make you think you weren’t healed. Refuse to receive the symptoms again and tell those demons to leave. You may have to do it more than once.” She seemed to understand.
“By the way, this is something any believer can do. You saw how I commanded pain to leave, right? Well, you can get people healed the same way I did. It’s so easy anyone can do it.” She was excited to learn anything I could share with her.
We arrived at the hospital and wheeled her inside. She gave me a warm hug before she got off the gurney and I introduced her to the cath lab team.
God is so good! I loved your book and this testimony to His faithfulness. I believe that she was healed. No doubt in my mind. I need the exact same healing done in my body. You prayed for my left shoulder once, but the pain came back a couple of days later. I now have chest pain with squeezing. No, I haven’t gone to the dr. They push the ?. I’m a 59 year old married female who loves Jesus. He has been so very good to me, my family etc. I’m ready to live again in the fullness that God called me to live.
I’m praying for your healing.
Dear praying medic ( Dave) I am thankful to God he is I believe using you to help us in many ways. I’ve read three of your books and have a few more to go. Your book on healing in three easy steps was astounding! All are helpful. The Lord allowed me to go through a very challenging time over the past few years and I’m prayerful the end of such trials are imminent. I have been delivered from unforgiving to forgiving everyone and that is such a gift so, my former heart of stone is now made flesh and I feel humbled and grateful. I would like to ask for financial blessing and deliverance from fear if you would please pray for me. I thank you and am grateful for any prayers. I look forward to reading your book on dreams. MM
Thank you, Marla. I am praying that God would bless you, financially.
These testimonies are beautiful and so very helpful. Reading your story about this healing, the circumstances, your approach, your words, and responses
give me a foundation to build upon as I practice. I have prayed in silence with positive results but I am ready to speak. I helped my husband with lower back challenges a few days ago. Going in for a hug, I laid my hands on his back and base of his skull and prayed silently. He is not one to admit he feels better but you can see it in their eyes and their mood and movements. I feel confident helping others after reading this. Thank you.
Thank you Dave for all that you do, have done and will continue to do for all of us out here in virtual land. Such a blessing you and your wife are to so VERY many!!! You have been my “go to” guy for understanding on difficult current issues in America. I stand for AMERICA and her greatness because GOD is NOT finished with us, just a whole lot of darkness to clean up! Could you please say a prayer for my shoulders with movement pain issues, my mind (long and short term memory), great hearing difficulties and financial breakthrough!! I continue to STAND and NOT be moved by what the physical shows but KNOW that GOD has got this!!! Thank you and blessings!!!
My pleasure, fren. 🙂
Reading things like this, I am doubtful, I am also amazed. Raised how I was stricked Irish Catholic.. I have never seen a Bam moment! ( what I call em) LOL.. I totally believe in God.. Father Son n Holy Ghost. But I have never had an ah ah!! moment.. I struggle with drinking.. Met a lady hard core drug addict n alcoholic for 20 years.. She grabbed the bible and said Lord if your real, I want to stop it all…Bam! she hasnt taken a drug or drink now for like 10 years… Very strange to me.. I can honestly say ive never really seen anything come true I pray for. Now that does not mean I don t believe something may be happening behind the scenes, but tons of priests, nuns etc never had these Bam! moments… dont get why some do, some dont… ( I take that back! Have a dear Cross had for 8 years, lost it in horse pen in foot of mud.. I was sick.. I prayed and prayed to find it… after winter, next spring.. I looked down and Bam! there it was… face up. Where once was foot of muck.. should had been buried from winter n horses.. ok ok.. i forgot about that little incident… I think that was my 1 bam! lol totally forgot.. annnnnnnnnd, lost it again 2 years later.. pray n pray again…Bam! there it is stucking up out of sofa cushions…. cushions I sat on, layed on ever night, somehow it randomly squished up between cushions to show itself.. ok man I forgot about these 2 incidents until I started writing this…….ok ill shut up LOL )
