Courts of Heaven
First Experience in the Court of Heaven
This testimony was sent to me by a friend, about his son’s first experience in the court of heaven. My friend and his son wish to remain anonymous.
We have a son, who is 21. Currently, he is on probation for a crime he committed when he was 18. If you’re familiar with Romeo and Juliet laws, you’ll know that they are for sex between consenting teenagers when one of the teens is not yet 18.
Now, my son will be the first to tell you that what he did was wrong and deserves a punishment, but his maximum sentence was over 60 years in prison. The judge was no stranger to cases like this and wanted to dismiss the case, but the way the law is written, there is a lot of pressure and influence that can be brought to bear when one party (usually the girl’s mother, but not always) takes a hard stance.
It had taken two years just to build and prep my son’s case (culminating with his arrest.) By that time the relationship was long over. My son had long since moved on with his life, including moving out of state.
As I said, two years later, the police showed up at his door and arrested him. He had no idea any of this was going on. To say that being arrested took him (and his parents) by surprise is a gross understatement. Just his transport back to Arizona took a month. He stayed in roughly a dozen jails across the west, including Sheriff Joe’s.
This launched a year-long experience (this last year) for my wife and I with courtroom proceedings, visitation phone calls, calls and meetings with public defenders, and times of prayer and journaling where the outcome carried real weight. We saw so many miraculous answers to prayers and a few forks in the road (one day, I’ll write a book). This is also how our jail ministry began; a ministry that is currently thriving with several inmates who now journal, at least one with great accuracy (it’s amazing when he and my wife get the same thing in their journals!)
The judge wanted to dismiss the case but was compelled to give my son probation. As my son began probation, the word from the Lord to us was that we should decree dismissal, and we had been decreeing that for months.
A week or so ago, I began reading Praying Medic’s book Traveling in the Spirit Made Simple. Now this concept has interested me for years, and although I know that it has Bible precedence, I also realize that it’s very controversial, so I don’t usually talk about it openly. Besides, just two years ago, we had literally no experience with the supernatural, and now we regularly see people healed, practice inner-healing as needed, and do fairly well with the prophetic (especially, journaling, which can be very prophetic). Maybe we would add traveling in the Spirit to the mix?
And then my son asked to read Traveling in the Spirit Made Simple.
Now, I should tell you that he grew up with Bible teaching from day one. He’s watched us minister and has done some ministry himself. So a lot of the concepts aren’t new to him, and he’s too young to care what others think or be worried about how it might impact his family (after all, he has no family of his own; he’s a single, 21-year-old with more life experiences than three guys that are three times his age!)
So, after reading the book, he says, I wonder if I can travel in the Spirit?
My reply? Go for it. Here’s his journal, recounting his first experience in the court of heaven:
I saw two floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, running the entire length of a room; one was on the right side, one on the left. There was a table with a chair in front of me, on the left side of the room. The right side of the room also had a table with a chair. Across from the tables, there was a judge’s bench. I saw a figure sitting at the bench, but I could not see his face because it shone brightly. What garments of his I could see were white.
I approached the left table and stood there to address the court. I said, “I would like to bring the earthly case against me, CR201500, before this court. And I would like my accuser to be present.”
I looked to the left, and a dark swirling cloud appeared on the far side of the room and moved toward the left table. When it reached about five feet from the table, it materialized into a demon. I knew it was well dressed for demonic standards (it was still terribly ugly). I heard the words “deceiver, liar, and pervert” come from the demon’s mind as it accused me.
I declared, “Open the book.”
An angel appeared to the right of the bench with a thick, heavily bound book in his hand. The cover had ornate metal trimmings in the corners and swirling designs in the center. The angel opened the book in the middle, and the pages were empty. He fanned through the entire book, and there was nothing on any of the pages. He looked up at the judge expectantly.
I said, “The blood of Jesus has cleansed me, and I stand before you blameless, spotless, righteous, a co-ruler with you. Please pass the verdict against my accuser.”
A voice loudly said, “All rise.”
The judge motioned me to approach the bench. I approached, and he handed me a long scroll. In one fluid motion, I took the scroll and placed it directly within my inmost being. I turned and walked back to the table. I looked up at the judge and asked, “Lord, what do I do now?”
He motioned for me to come back, so I approached the bench again. He leaned down and said in a low tone, “Go read the scroll to the demon.” I turned and walked toward the left table, reaching inside myself and pulling out the scroll.
I stood at the corner of the table, facing the demon at an angle. I opened the scroll and started reading. “By decree of the Lord of Hosts, there is no legal basis for any charge against you. Cease and desist at once, or face the consequences.”
At the bottom of the scroll was the seal of heaven. As I read the scroll, the demon would not look at me but stared straight ahead. He scowled angrily when he heard what it said, then turned, moved away from me for a few feet, and vanished.
I turned and asked the judge, “Will I need to read this to anyone else in the future?”
He said, “Yes, you will.”
I sat down in the gallery, behind the tables. I smiled, and said, “Is there anything else I need to know?”
He told me, “That is a legally binding court order, which you can serve to anyone who is in defiance of it. If you need any help serving the order, ask for the bailiff, and he will come help you. If you need help enforcing it, ask your angels, and they will carry out the consequences.”
I said, “Thank you, Lord,” then got up and returned to earth.
Update 11/28/2016: I received this message concerning the young man in this story:
My son recently applied for a job at a national retailer where they do an extensive background check on job applicants. Apparently, whether the candidate is hired or not, they share the results of the background check with the candidate (the results come by separate mail). After a couple of weeks, my son’s background check results arrived recently. Those results were:
County criminal history search: No record
National crime search: No record
National federal search: No record
Statewide county search: No recordNow my son was convicted of two felonies and is currently on probation…how is it that four searches for criminal activity can find nothing?
My answer is that the Lord is in the process of making the courts of earth reflect the Courts of Heaven, and just as the books in the Courts of the Scribes are blank, they’re in the process of being made blank here on earth as well.

The article states that the judge wanted to dismiss the case but was compelled to give him probation.
Holy Spirit Encounters
Wonderful testimony! Thank you for sharing. Every time I Daniel 7:21-22 I feel the power of Holy Spirit. 21 “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.
That scripture came to mind when I began to hear you and others speak of the courts of heaven. Thank you for stepping up and teaching this.

I don’t find this in the New Covenant. Jesus cleansed the heavens when He rose from the dead and Satan nor his demons have access to Heavens courts anymore to accuse for ” the accuser of the brethren has been cast down..” If you could please explain this going to Heavens court teaching to me please.
Praying Medic
Hi Troy. The apostle Paul taught that New Covenant believers battle against evil spirits and that the battle takes place in the heavens: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
Satan and his angels have not been cast down from heaven to earth, but rather from a high place in heaven to a lower place in heaven. The multiplicity of heavenly realms can be seen in many Old Testament passages such as 1 Kings 8:27:
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You.”
Note that three places are spoken of in this passage: “The earth”, “the heavens” and “the heaven of heavens.” God lives in the last one – “the heaven of heavens.” It is the lower realm of heaven where the court of accusation is and where evil spirits have access to.

Hi Troy – the answer is in the book he wrote and yes Jesus gave us instructions on this.

Great testimony! I second Anonymous’ question at the beginning; is there any update, based on the Lord’s words that he would need t use the decree in the future?

I might add that as I read the young man’s experience the presence of the Lord was tangible in my living room. Such a confirmation of the validity of his experience. I recently finished a 40 day fast wherein my assignment was to petition the high court of heaven for FAITH, on behalf of the Church. Jesus then asked the question from Luke 18:8 “When I come will I find faith on the earth”. For 40 days I brought various issues regarding the church and nation before the court, acknowledging the accusation, declaring His justification by the blood and would then read about some of them in the news reports. This is powerful stuff!
