Cooperating with Angels to Change the Weather
One of the more intriguing testimonies shared by Mike Parsons at The Gathering conference was the story of how he partnered with an order of angels known as the “winds of change.” Mike was on a flight to New Zealand with a connecting flight in Australia. Not long after the plane was in the air, a flight attendant came over the intercom and said that strong headwinds would have them arriving late which meant Mike would miss his connecting flight. Mike knew it was God’s will for him to be on time. He also knew that by cooperating with angels, he could change the weather. So he directed a company of angels to change the wind direction. Sometime later, the flight attendant announced that due to a strong tailwind, rather than being late, the plane would arrive early.
How can mere humans effect changes in the weather?
First, we must understand that God has given us dominion over the earth. Rather than sovereignly controlling things like the weather, God has given us a measure of authority over it. Jesus, in calming a storm, demonstrated to His disciples a kingdom principle. They could suffer in fear and perhaps die in a storm, or they could exercise their God-given authority and calm it. Everything Jesus did is an example of what we can do.
Next, we must understand God’s will. Everything we do as His representatives must be in accordance with it. God doesn’t want people to be killed by storms. The kingdom of darkness brings death. The kingdom of God brings life. It is always His will to lessen the damage and loss of life caused by severe storms. His ultimate will is that no lives would ever be lost. Armed with this information, we must next understand the authority He has given us.
To understand authority from a biblical perspective, it’s helpful to understand thrones. A throne is a seat that grants the one who occupies it, authority over certain things. Jesus said:
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Rev. 3:21
Jesus allows believers to sit with Him on His throne. Not after we die. Right now. The picture here is of co-rulership. We’ve been made (past tense) joint heirs with Christ. We have authority with Him over the things which He has authority. How far does His authority extend?
All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mt. 28:18
That’s a lot of authority.
Some of the things we can do with this authority can be done without the help of angels. Commanding a demon to leave an afflicted person is an example. But some things require angelic assistance.
After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

Angels (both good and evil) play a major role in controlling the weather. In the same way that demons afflict people with sickness and we’re authorized to combat them, Satan’s angels are able to effect destructive changes in the weather, while God’s angels can oppose them. Angels have power but they lack the authority of a believer. We have the authority they don’t have. When we partner with angels and couple our authority with their power, we operate more effectively. When I’ve partnered with angels, I’ve witnessed storms moved hundred of miles out to sea.
As I write this, the clean-up from flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey is continuing. Hurricane Irma is only a few days from making landfall. The western U.S. and Canada have been ravaged by wildfires this summer. Our authority can be used to bring wind and rain under control or to bring rain to areas affected by wildfires. But the tactics we employ to change the weather often require us to work with angels.
The one place I always see angels is in the courts of heaven. Particularly in the court of angels. The court of angels is a place where we can meet with angels to get their help. Once we understand the will of God and the authority He’s given us, we can go there and get help to put our plans into operation.

. It also explains why meteorologists were befuddled when Harvey GAINED speed and intensity over land and stood still over Houston – a highly abnormal pattern for any storm or hurricane.
Satellite images of Irma look very very suspicious with clouds developing in the Caribbean like a dot matrix printer. YES! Thank you for posting that link. That is what the Lord was speaking to me this morning, that these storms are not natural but manipulated by man! And to dispatch angels to those doing the manipulating to stop them, seize up their computers, and to intercept the damaging signals! Hallelujah! I work for the National Weather Service and can tell you for a fact that Nexrad does NOT steer the weather – it doesn’t not have that capability! It saves lives by DETECTING weather. Also – it’s nothing new that clouds can be created by man. When I was a young girl I saw that happen in a climate controlled hangar where my Dad was working. It was 90 degrees outside and 30 degrees in the hangar. Clouds would get created in the hangar when the doors were opened momentarily. Irma and Harvey started out in the middle of the ocean, the same as all other hurricanes. I can’t imagine the size of the engine that would be needed to create a man-made hurricane and then to have it out on open water. It would be a billion dollar project! We should be able to see something like that via the many public imagery satellites that’s available. I attribute the odd behavior of Harvey to spiritual forces, not man.
Agree Kelly. I’ve studied weather a lot having 5 FAA flight ratings as a pilot. No possible way a hurricane can be created by man. That conspiracy theory (like most others) is complete waste of time and ignores the fact that (just like the Bible shows with Job and the storm on Galilee) principalities control or cause these and it is our responsibility to use our higher level authority to shut these down. Lance Wallnau did some great videos on these especially with Irma approaching. I used to follow some of the stuff people say on those theories but finally I saw what the Bible says and threw the tin hat stuff in the trash.

My son lives in Coral Springs Flordia. On September 4 I started praying in the spirit. Not knowing what the Lord would show me I was surprised…as usual by what He showed me. First Bright Yellow..a very clear day. Red in the waves being washed out to sea…away from the land. There were calm Blue clouds in streams coming down to touch the earth. Rainbows that were like in circles…over and over. Beige( not a color I see often). Coloring the land…was like nothing happened.A large Grey Cloud …I mean large was being pushed out to sea by two large hands. There was a woman with long gray hair who looked up to the rainbow…I could see her as young to old. She had lived through the storm. There was a man who held his hands up with no blood on them and no mud on his boots. I will continue to pray for all involved in this storm.

Just read the book. Excellent, short and makes this whole topic of both the courts and angels simple enough that anyone can begin operating in this realm which most, like myself have not had the understanding about. You plead for mercy against judgment and beg Me not to righteously and necessarily judge the land. Did you cry out against the sins that have brought the judgment? Did you cry out and expose evil? Did you go out into the highways and byways preaching My Gospel of repentance? Did you cry out against the filth, the cancerous tumors of evil that have grown so deep into the soil of the land? Did you cry out against the millions of innocents whose blood has soaked deep into the ground?
Where were your cries then? Where was your stand against all of that? You sat silent as all around you turned to darkness, and comforted yourselves with positive thoughts of better days ahead and you listened to the false ones who preached it.
Who are you now, you false prophets, who think you can counsel Me and remind Me of mercy? Who are you to tell Me what to do? Do you think that you can command something in My Name that I have not ordained? And what are your motives? Do you ask for mercy on the unrepentant? Even after all of the devastation in Texas, they set up emergency ABORTION services! Have you cried out against that? Do you think that I am so far away in the clouds that I do not see and hear and judge everything? Silence yourselves for you cannot and will not stop what I have ordained. I hear those who love Me and belong to ME and YES , I have a plan for their lives. I AM the Good Shepherd and I take care of My Sheep, and they trust in ME. But the wicked are not so. They curse Me for receiving what they more than deserve.
I take no pleasure in the death and destruction of the wicked. But I am who I AM. Take heed to what I say. Is is too harsh for you? Is sin and evil worth losing your eternal souls over? Why are you so shocked at what is happening, and I tell you the truth – this is just the beginning. Pray for yourselves, your families and friends, so that all may be found repentant and surrendered to Me – and I will take care of My own. But do not pray against My Will.
My Prophets have My Heart. The Words are hard and cutting and they must be so.
They are brought with tears but they are brought in obedience. But for those who belong to ME, I AM their Jehovah Jireh – their Provider. I judge, I discipline, I even destroy, but My Son did not die for nothing! He died to give eternal life to all who repent and believe on Him. Do not neglect so great a salvation! For many, this is their last opportunity.
It’s interesting (or puzzling) how there are two schools of thoughts. One being, since sickness, death and destruction cannot be from God, a son of God (including daughter of course) may exercise his free will to exercise his authority in Christ to stop it on its track. With this group, I haven’t yet heard satisfactory answer concerning the curious case of Lazarus, not to mention death of Ananias and Sapphira. Also getting handed over to the torturer becomes hard to explain.
The second group believes in judgement and God is today still more like the God described in the Old Testament who would open up the ground to swallow people etc. But then how come this seems (to me anyway) so different from the Jesus portrayed in the four gospels?
For me, I can only cry out to God and say God apparently I don’t know You as well as I should. Please grant me Your Spirit of wisdom and understanding so I may know You like Moses know you, better yet, like Jesus know You.
Thank you S Young for speaking the truth!! Our God is revealed in Revelation as coming back as a warrior King and we still view Him only as a lamb. WE are to be like He was in His earthly ministry, as lambs, interceding for our planet. Our authority is only to be used as Jesus did- submitting to the Father’s will. It’s God’s will for the world to repent, and for His people to lead in this. Only then can we be houses of prayer, a place of refuge and able to command angels at His bidding.. We have become arrogant in thinking we know our God. We haven’t even scratched the surface in knowing this mightly Holy God! He is Awesome, and holiness comes before stepping into our saintly callings.

I love this article, but I was hoping you would tell us how to partner with angels to move Irma out to sea, since it is now upon us. It would have helped many believers adjust the way they are praying , so we could be more affective.
How to do it is impossible to explain precisely in an article. There are many ways it can be done. Each person must accomplish their goals in a slightly different way, depending on how the Lord leads them.
Thank you so much for all the books and teachings. I’ve learned a great deal. I have a question and maybe it’s a novice question but so be it, I’m learning. Right after Harvey hit and while we were preparing here in Orlando for Irma I was listening to Ian Clayton teach on Tomorrow people. While I can’t explain or comprehend all that he said I did hear him talking about creation crying out in the form of water, wind and fire. I immediately thought of the hurricanes and other things we are dealing with here in the U.S. Are things like the storms being dealt with in the Heavenly councils and if we don’t have enough mature believers to represent us in those does it affect the outcome? If that is the case do we still have a responsibility to partner with angels to see these things dealt with? Many of us made declarations and spoke to Irma. We saw that storm lose momentum and decrease winds but not enough to stop a great deal of destruction. A weatherman in Tampa actually noted on air that there was no way the storm should have done what it was doing and that people must have been praying. I know these are not simple things to understand but you have always brought a great level of logic and clarity to the subjects you cover.
