Manifestations of God’s Glory as Gold Dust
I was in Charlotte, North Carolina last week, taping a TV show with Sid Roth when I witnessed the appearance of gold dust on a friend’s hands during prayer. I’d like to share a few testimonies and some perspective on this misunderstood subject.
A few years ago, Michael King came to my house for a glory-filled meeting. We sang, we worshipped God, and His tangible presence filled our home. Michael placed his hands beneath mine and prayed for God to manifest His glory on my hands. A few minutes later, tiny specks of gold appeared on them. Even though I’ve never felt like I had the faith to pray for gold dust to manifest on other people, I’ve never forgotten the lesson I learned that night.
Last week, in the lobby of the hotel, we had another glory party. My friend Jilly was with us. She’s new to the supernatural. I told her about the first time I saw gold dust manifest while Joshua Mills taught at a conference. As I told the story, I felt the Lord nudge me to pray for gold dust to manifest on her hands. I had her hold her hands out with the palms up. I placed mine beneath hers and asked the Holy Spirit to manifest his glory. I repeated the prayer several times and in a few minutes, specks of gold dust appeared. I continued praying and the manifestation intensified.
My other friends checked it out and we thanked God for showing us His goodness. Then I told Jilly, “The miraculous is easy. Watch one, do one, teach one. You watched me do it. Now it’s your turn.” I held my hands above hers and had her pray for God to manifest His glory the same way I did. (I checked my hands before she prayed and there was no gold dust on them.) After a few minutes, gold dust appeared on my hands.
The next day, we went out for breakfast. When I was done eating, I called the waitress over. I’d noticed that the restaurant was nearly empty and asked if she had a few minutes. She said she did. I got up and walked over to her. “I’d like to try something. Hold your hands out with the palms up. Is there anything on them?”
“I don’t see anything,” she replied.
“Okay, now watch. Lord, I ask you to manifest your glory on this woman’s hands.” I continued asking God to manifest His presence until flecks of gold appeared. She looked at her hands in astonishment. My friends gather around and encouraged her with prophetic words. Gauging by her response, she was deeply touched by the experience.
I shared my testimony on Periscope the next morning. A friend watched the broadcast and was encouraged to try it herself. Much to her surprise, gold dust manifested on her hands.
I didn’t think I had the faith to ask for this manifestation of God’s glory but it turns out, I did. And so did others who had never seen it before.
Maybe you’d like to give it a shot. What have you got to lose?

What About Gold Dust?
I LOVE this testimony! I LOVE to see GOD’S Glory manifest!!! Many times when I worship our KING my hands and chest get covered with gold flakes! So AWESOME to know HE is listening! Thank you for your sharing!
I experienced the gold dust phenomenon here in the Portland Oregon area 18 years ago. Ruth Heflin came to speak, and I witnessed it appearing on here close up during lunch. Then it started happening to me whenever I would talk about it, and some of my friends too.
I’m excited that God is still doing this, and even more excited that he’s about to do something greater!
Thank you! After I wiped the tears of joy away from reading this post my prayer was, “Lord Jesus, I ask that You manifest Your glory through me to others that they may become aware of Your eternal presence and come to know Your unconditional love and forgiveness and Your gift of eternal life here and now.
A wonderful prayer.
I love this manifestation of God’s Glory! It always felt like a kiss from God for me. Several years ago I had the manifestation happen a bunch of years in a row and then it slowed to a stop.
My kids got it and I got it whenever we worshipped or talked about it. It is very “contagious” as I liked to say, being able to pray for people and have it manifest. You know, children just can’t fake this stuff.
One time in church it was manifesting and landing on my thighs like coming from the air, and on my face and hands. I showed my husband and he thought I was a little heavy on the eye shadow that morning 😀 but I do not wear gold eyeshadow LOL!
I began to examine it when it manifested and it seemed to come from the pores of our skin, face and hands. Sometimes it would grow to bigger flakes but mostly with us it was a very fine sparkly dust.
I had many people doubt the manifestation and call it of the devil etc. THERE IS NO WAY! It happened while glorifying and worshipping God!
I loved it and still like hearing stories about it. Maybe someday it will come back, maybe not.
Four years ago I spent a week of fasting and praying. I had never fasted before and I was dealing with issues that required me to be in a place of complete submission. Every time I felt hungry, I went to my prayer closet. I lit candles and put my headphones on, worshipping, praying and honoring God. Each time I ventured out of that candle lit closet I said, Show me your glory, Lord. And each time I watched in utter delight as the gold specks manifested on my palms! It was the sweetest experience I have ever had with the Lord!
Years ago I had a teacher that had cancer, in a vision I saw her surounded by big chunky blocks of gold glitter, in the vision I could walk to her and feel the power of the gold! I worked up the courage to tell her about the vision, she used it as a meditation with her chemo treatment, she said it was a wonderful and powerful meditation. At that time it felt like Gods healing power❤
That happened to me a couple years ago. I was taking notes at a Bobby Conner conference and I suddenly saw gold sparkles on my finger. I showed a friend sitting in front of me and she got excited. I wanted to share some with her, but then I thought that I didn’t want to lose this precious gift myself! Then the Lord reminded me the verse, “Give and it will be given unto you..” I rubbed hands with my friend, sharing the gold dust. Then I had it on both of my hands! I showed my mom and she thought it came off my pencil. So I tried rubbing my pencil on my hand and nothing came off of it. The gold dust would reappear later when I shared the testimony, sometimes in worship, and about a week ago it happened again when I anointed a friend for healing. ?? I feel like God is telling me I am precious to Him when I see the sparkles.
Father, Manifest gold dust on our President’s hands, in Jesus’ name. Amen
Yesterday I was doing a study of the glory of God stirred up by an angelic encounter I had many years ago. Then today, I met a friend for lunch at a restaurant. We were talking about setting up a bi-weekly meeting this summer called Friday Fire and encourage teens and adults interested in the “more” of God to come so we could share testimonies and activate our faith for these things in action. I shared this message I found yesterday and we dared to try it and right there in the restaurant gold dust manifested on our hands just like it happened in your story! It was amazing! We were overcome and found ourselves laughing and crying. What a joy!!! God is so good! Thank you for sharing. We both feel this was confirmation to start these Friday Fire meetings. Praise God!
I had long dream in hospital after injury. After many days. God had his hand on my shoulder. Then told me. As long as I have my hand on you. You have nothing to fear or worry about. After recovery. My friend took photo of me with my hand out. It appeared as if Gold was pouring out the palm of my hand. I only know that I am not perfect. Although God allows us miracles as a blessing. To give us assurance that God is with us. To give us strenght and encouragement to build our faith stronger than a rock of Gold! Although these things God gives us. Sometimes are just for us. I learned giving pearls to the swine. Is not always good. Without a heart of gold. The miracles turn into nothing.
A few years ago, in my time of worship, I had gold dust on me and was wondering what had happened. Had heard about it happening to others before so I shared it with my small group. Our Lord is truly worth worshiping. He is good all the time.
