The Voice of God I hear is almost always a still, small voice as described in 1 Kings 19: 11-12. However, His message is unmistakable and clear.
Your video was a beautiful testimony of how God changes lives; I know because He changed mine! I pray wi this video will touch the hearts of many.

Not all pastors are good teachers so praise God for raising up people as yourself to teach and disciple the flock along their way. I was glad to her you say that God speaks in many different ways and would have loved, many years ago, to hear this easy to understand teaching when I was transitioning out of Catholicism. I love how the Lord has a love language that is unique to everyone and a sense of humor to go along with it. KOKO! Much love in the Lord to you and Denise.
Thank you for this lesson. God speaks to us primarily through His Word. :). Whatever we “hear” must align with His Word or it is not from God.
Love this subject. I definitely have heard Gods voice and leading but at times need to learn discernment of my thoughts versus Gods leading. Bless you and your family.

I appreciate this video and look forward to the future installments carrying on this theme. In the meanwhile, I’ll watch this a few more times, and share it with my wife. From what I’m learning about God and spirituality, I think that perhaps the voice that you heard was actually the Holy Spirit. It is my understanding that God communicates to us through the Holy Spirit. I’m no theologian, nor is it my intent to contradict your message. Regardless if the message came from God or the Holy Spirit, the message is the same, and the Holy Spirit is not a lesser member of the Trinity. Thank you Dave for these Spiritual messages. I always look forward to them.
Dave, I just came home from a “Charismatic conference” in BHM and as the leader explained “the process,” it seemed very complicated (although one lovely speaker did say hearing God is as easy as seeing coral underwater.. you just have to shift focus a bit). I walked out of there wondering what was wrong with me that I wasn’t on the floor! Lol.
I was sooo happy to get home to your books.. where your “process” (if it is indeed that) is simple and straight forward. You have a very understandable approach in all of your books, and you never make any of your topics feel overwhelming. I have 6 of your books, the four “Made Simple” series, and the two “Courts of Heaven” books. ALL are lucid, well thought out, and easy to follow. Thank you so much Dave. I look forward to the rest of this series as I reread my Hearing God’s Voice book
