Dave, I don’t think I was a victim of SRA, but I do have trauma from my upbringing and the resulting abuse placed upon me by virtual strangers who took sexual advantage of me (I was raised to be a sitting duck!). The problem is that it’s buried so deep that I just can’t seem to get at the root of it. It’s left me living this life alone with few friends and intermittent bouts of anxiety and depression. I spent almost 20 years (1988-2007) with a severe clinical depression (some psych doctors characterized it as psychotic depression) with strong anxiety features, including a form of OCD. What do you do when you can’t “scratch the itch”?
